Contacting Me

I recently hit a breaking point with the amount of spam that comes into my, or anyone else's, internet domains. If others want to tolerate it, that's fine, but I no longer do. As a result, I instituted a new policy across all of my sites regarding methods of contact.

In essence, what I did was set my junk mail filter's tolerance so low that it stops all email email sent to me. I also created a whitelist that contains all of the emails of people I know. If you've sent me mail before, or if I've sent you mail, you're on that list the the junk mail filter ignores your mail and passed it through to me. Everything else is trapped.

To put it another way, I no longer accept mail from someone who I don't already expect to send me mail. If we know each other, you can email me directly. Everyone else will need to use the form below. If you email is valid, then I'll add you to the whitelist and you won't have to use the form anymore.

If this seems like a nuisance to you, thank the spammers. After nearly 3,000 pieces of mail per month, I gave up my primary email address that I had used for the past seven years. Never again.
